This weekend was another long weekend of Home Theater work. Friday night saw the second coat go on the ceiling and walls. I hate painting textured ceilings. Saturday was an 8:30am – 10:30 pm marathon of trimming, by John, and fiddly bits getting addressed. Sunday, Traci’s parents came down and we hung the new door and did a lot more painting as well as put on the last piece of baseboard. We’d run out Saturday night and had to get some more at Lowe’s. I can’t get any good pictures of the front of the stage anymore since it’s black wood on a black wall with black ceiling. I put the rope lighting into the tray created by the crown on Saturday as well, but I need to redo it to get it in there the way I want. Not sure that will photograph well either.

I seem to have grown a rather large pile of trash in the garage for tonight, so naturally it’s raining today.
