Came across this article while reading Wired yesterday. I’ve always had a blueprint of sorts of what I’d do if I found myself with billions of dollars. There are several things I’d do and one of the major ones, life extension, has been lifted almost exactly from the dark corners of my brain and implemented by John Sperling. This one of the most positive, uplifting things I’ve read in quite a while and it gives me a profound sense of hope for humanity. Quite the opposite of the forced march into the dark ages that we are enduring under the science banning religious empire of Bush.
