Yesterday was the first real day of landscaping. The crew was out here for about 8 hours and we have some progress! The woods are well on the way to being cleared out near the front of the property. One poor guy with a rake, I didn’t envy him that job. The longest part was doing the slabs by the side of the driveway. That huge pile of slabs we had was apparently just for one side of the driveway. It took them awhile to dig out the place where they go and then to lay each one down and get it level. There were 2-3 people working on this most of the day and they still have one row to go. It should look pretty cool when it’s all done. I guess we’re getting a lot more slabs and dirt!
