Back from Costa Rica and it was a fantastic trip. I’m working on a website for the trip and with some luck I’ll have it up this week. I took my PocketPC along to keep a travel journal, thinking that would make this very easy. Of course, Murphy had other thoughts. The travel charger I had didn’t work worth a damn and I had to keep the PocketPC off after the first two days in an effort to keep any battery life in it for the duration of the trip. So I ended up jotting down highlights of the days activities and now I need to go back and write that up into something more interesting to read. It’s taking a while to get the 576 pictures ready for viewing as well.

On the sad news front, Bailey had to be put to sleep while we were gone. She had a seizure at the kennel and the consensus was that she wasn’t going to improve. Bob and Lynn handled it for us. This is my first pet death and it’s not much fun at all. I had her for 12 years and she would have been 15 in September.
