My first Think Geek Order
I’ve been to the ThinkGeek web site many times. Always thought it was pretty neat and they had some cool things. I’d say to myself “I need to order some of this stuff” and then forget. Well, yesterday Todd sent me a link to the site about thier Caffeine section. So I placed an order. Read More …
Planetside, a keeper.
I’ve been playing the game Planetside for a few months now and it’s really got me hooked. Not in a “gotta play it now, I need a fix” sort of way but rather like putting on a comfortable shoe that you know and love. The game never really ends and any sense of real accomplishment Read More …
Pepsi Vanilla
I have to say I really like the new diet Pepsi Vanilla. I like it better than diet Vanilla Coke. It has a lot less aftertaste. It uses a blend of “AceK” (Acesulfame Potassium) and Aspartame like Pepsi One uses. The result is very smooth and not as biting as diet Vanilla Coke. The non Read More …

The possibilities are quite endless once mass quantities of cheap diamond can be created. Many SCI-FI books have countless uses for diamond in a world where it’s almost free to manufacture. We’re Read More …
Living in the woods
Living in the woods is great. It’s beautiful and there are tons of interesting critters around when you least expect it. Small herds of deer sleeping in the front yard, newborns wondering around with their mothers in the back yard, owls, hawks and endless little moles in the mulch beds. But it’s also a lot Read More …
Countertop is in!
At long last the basement office is begining to look done. Of course, it woudln’t be one of my projects if it went entirely smooth. They ran out of splash material at on end of the room and have to come back when more is fabricated. Also, the need for a brace at the back Read More …
Basement Project Update
This weekend saw another visit by my uncle and another 20+ hours of work on the office. All the cabinets are hung, doors are on (but still need adjusted), file drawers and CPU holders are in place. Tomorrow morning the counter top gets installed. Check out the progress.
