Nothing is as it seems

I’ve been wondering recently about the abrupt turn around that Colin Powell has displayed over the war in Iraq. It’s refreshing to see that I’m not the only one who noticed that something changed and that what is presented isn’t always what is real. It’s nice to know that my memory isn’t faulty and things that I read and saw in the past really did happen. I also think it’s good to have what seemed to me obvious to be made more so by articles in the media. After reading the article “Advisers split as war unfolds” on MSNBC’s web site I can’t help but think that Donald Rumsfled needs to read Sun Tzu’s The Art Of War and realize that it still holds value today, even though much of the means of war have changed.
